~Uruha’s POV~

            “Ok, I’m going now.” Says Kai. He’s just served us our desserts. He really is a good chef, it’s obvious he’s a professional. He’s a really nice guy as well, that much is obvious.

            “You’re going?” I ask. Even I can hear the panic in my voice.

            “Yeah. I’m meeting my girlfriend.” Kai responds. “Don’t worry Aoi isn’t going to throw you down and have his way with you the moment I’m gone. Unless that’s what you two are planning.”

            “I know that.” I reply and the smart sensible part of me does. If only it wasn’t for this paranoia.

            “Aoi’s a nice guy. You don’t have to worry.” Kai says giving me a look. It’s like he knows what I’m thinking! I watch Kai leave and turn my attention back to Aoi.

            Kai is right. Aoi is a nice guy. He’s funny and hot too. He’s perfect. That’s why I can’t be a slut! A guy like him doesn’t want a slut for a boyfriend. He can’t know my secret. I won’t allow it to happen.

            “Uruha. You didn’t really think I was going to try to rape you did you?” Aoi asks. He sounds hurt, I’ve hurt him. This perfect man.

            “No. Not rape. It’s me.” I mutter.

            “It’s you? You’re planning to rape me?” Aoi says. He sounds unsure. He obviously doesn’t believe the conclusion he’s drawn but I’ve dug myself into a hole now. I’m either going to have to tell the truth and loose him now or lie. But if he finds out I lied he’d defiantly leave me. Maybe he’ll understand. Maybe he’s done things he’s regretted too….

~Aoi’s POV~

            The meal was going great and then Kai left and it went weird. Uruha really looks like I’m about to rape him. Do I really give off that kind of image?

            “No. Not rape. It’s me.” He says in answer to my questioning. He’s staring at the table refusing to make eye contact. Something isn’t right here.

            “It’s you? You’re planning to rape me?” I ask. I won’t believe that. I don’t know why I said it. He looks like he’s about to run but he looks up and he looks so miserable. I just want to wrap him in a hug but I don’t. I have a feeling that if I try to touch him he’ll run and I’ll never see him again.

            “I’m a slut.” Uruha says and I stare at him. What! The man who wouldn’t even kiss me thinks he’s a slut!

            “You’re a slut.” I repeat in disbelief.

            “I’m trying to change. Don’t hate me.” Uruha says on the verge of tears.

            “I don’t hate you. How could I hate you?” I ask.

            “You don’t know what I’ve done.” Uruha says and he is crying now. I need to hug him. Make his tears go away. It pains me to see him like this.

            “I’m just going to hold you.” I promise as I get up and wrap him in a hug. His body freezes up but I carry on. He needs to learn he can trust me. Eventually I feel him relax and the sobbing lessens.

            “Come to the sofa.” I say taking his hand. He follows my lead and he curls up in the corner. He looks so small like that. I sit on the other side and watch him for a minute.

            “Is this something that you did when you were drunk?” I ask. “We’ve all done things we regret.”

            “You can’t have done as bad as me.” Uruha mutters.

            “I stole from Kai.” I say staring at the floor.

            “You stole from Kai?” Uruha repeats. He sounds shocked. Off course he’s shocked. Who steals from Kai? He must think I’m horrible.

            “I needed money for beer.” I mutter.

            “Does Kai know?” Uruha asks.

            “Yeah. He knows. I’m making it up to him.” I say. “I feel horrible. All I can say is  I was drunk. It’s an evil drink that makes us do evil things. Things we’d never do when we’re sober.”

            “I slept around.” Uruha admits. “I’d sleep with anyone. I did other stuff too. I don’t really want to talk about it.”

            “Then don’t.” I reply. “That wasn’t you. That was the drunk you. I won’t judge you.”

            “I don’t want to be a slut anymore. I want to be a good person. With a good boyfriend who loves me.” Uruha admits.

            “And I want to be that boyfriend.” I say. “If you’d let me. I’ll wait however long you feel necessary. I just want you close.”

            “You’ll wait for me?” Uruha asks.

            “However long you feel doesn’t make you a slut.” I promise.

            “Well I figured six months.” Uruha announces.

~Uruha’s POV~

            Aoi looks like he’s in shock. But that’s how long I decided. Nobody is a slut if they’ve been dating six months.

            “Six months?” Aoi repeats. He thinks I’m joking, but I’m not.

            “Six months.” I repeat confidently.

            “I know I promised to wait and I will but don’t you think you’ve gone a little too far the other way?” Aoi asks.

            “If you want my body you can wait six months.” I say crossing my arms across my chest.

            “Ok. Ok.” Aoi says but he doesn’t sound happy. “Can we at least do other stuff?”

            “Yes. But that has to wait too.” I announce.

            “Off course.” Aoi repeats. “Can I kiss you? Or does that have to wait to the tenth date?” He’s mocking me! He’s actually mocking me!

            “It does now.” I say glaring and he laughs.

            “I’m sorry. It’s just this six month thing.” Aoi mutters.

            “Well how long would you wait for?” I ask. I’m curious now. To be honest I have no real idea how long I should wait for. Six months just sounded safe but maybe Aoi is right. Now I think about it I have gone a little extreme.

            “A couple of dates.” Aoi replies. “Until I feel like I know the person.”

            “I’m willing to compromise.” I say. “Two months.”

            “That’s a dramatic drop. Not that I’m complaining.” Aoi says with a smile.

            “I may have been over compensating.” I admit.

            “I think you were.” Aoi laughs.

            “And now.” I add.

            “And now what?” Aoi asks.

            “You can kiss me now.” I explain. “If you still want too.”

            “Off course I want to.” Aoi says with a smile. He leans over and I can see his face in perfect detail. His skin is flawless, his eyes bright, his hair looks like silk. I want to run my fingers through it. And then I feel his lips on mine. There soft and gentle. He’s unsure about his kiss. It’s my fault. I have been a little unpredictable but it’s because I really have no experience when it comes to relationships.

            Aoi breaks the kiss and pulls back. He smiles shyly at me. I return his smile and lean forward. One kiss isn’t enough. I want more. I’ve never kissed a man like this before. I’ve never been kissed by a man who cares about me. It’s different. It’s better. The kisses are soft and sweet. They remind me of Aoi, well off course they do. It’s Aoi I’m kissing. I can smell his aftershave. It’s a nice smell. A lot of men put on too much but not him. It’s just the right amount.

            “You’re a good kisser.” Aoi smiles as I pull back.

            “So are you.” I reply. Aoi pulls me into his embrace and I sit there beside him, his arm protecting me. It’s nice. Just to talk to him. We kiss a little more. Kisses that aren’t foreplay. There just kisses conveying the feelings we can’t express in words.

            Every time we feel like we’re going too far we break apart and go back to talking. We’re still talking when Kai arrives home hours later.

            “I have to go.” I say finally noticing how late it’s gone.

            “I’ll walk you to your car.” Aoi agrees and we both reluctantly get up.

~Aoi’’s POV~

            I feel like I know Uruha a little better now. I finally understand him. Despite his sexual experience he’s never been in love before. He has no idea how to act. It’s adorable really. I love him. That’s what I realised tonight as we were kissing. I really love him.

            “Good night.” I say as I break our good night kiss.

            “Night.” Uruha replies.

            “I’ll call you.” I promise.

            “You’d better.” Uruha says with a smile. I stand back and wave him goodbye. I wonder if we’re officially a couple now. I hope so. I return back upstairs thinking the events over in my head.

            “I take it that it went well?” Kai asks.

            “He’s perfect.” I say with a smile.

            “He seems nice.” Kai agrees. Kai has given his blessing on my relationship. Can my day get any better?
