When the Sun Sets.... Chapter 2
As promised i have finished the second chapter! Having thought long and hard about this story i have decided it would proberly work best as a trilogy. However if i never get around the writing the second two parts that's ok. They will be called "In the light of the moon" and "The rising of the sun". I like my names, i hope they don't sound too bad....

Sorry for the lack of Yaoi in chapter 2. XD Don't worry i promise there will be some in the next chapter. I think i may explain the whole Tetsu thing too! Instead of just hinting around it. XD Well you don't want to hear me blab on about what is going to happen. You probarly just want to read the fic so here it is!

When the Sun Sets....
       ..... A story of Love, Lust and...... Vampires?!

Chapter 2
         

    Gackt couldn’t believe how easy it had been to get into Malice Mizer. As he went back to his hotel he couldn’t help thinking that there must be a catch. And he was having second thoughts about the whole thing. Közi seemed to be the kind of person Gackt could easily get on with. Funny, sensible and cool. He was also talkative which was lucky because he and Mana weren’t. It was Mana that was the problem. He seemed so cold and weird… Gackt didn’t mind weird normally but Mana was creepy weird. Well no point deciding now. He would meet the rest of the band tomorrow he’d make his decision then. Who knows maybe Mana was just shy. Gackt stepped into his hotel room. A nice shower then bed, that was what Gackt needed. He wasn’t hungry tonight so he didn’t need to bother finding food.

            The next day Gackt returned to Közi’s house. Having realised that wearing a suit yesterday may have been a little over the top he’d gone for a more casual look. His favourite black jeans and a black shirt with gold embroidery. Some silver jewellery finished off the look. This time there were 4 cars in the drive. He parked his own car in the drive. He knew it was OK because Közi had already told him too. Közi’s house was actually pretty big but that was because Mana and Yu~ki lived there too. Only Kami lived elsewhere. Kami shared an apartment a few miles away with a friend of his. Yu~ki hadn’t been home the night before which is why Gackt hadn’t met him at this point.

            Gackt got out of his car and walked to the front door. Közi had told him to just walk in, so Gackt did what he was told.
    “Hello” he called.
    “In here” replied Közi’s voice from a room on the right. Gackt headed towards the room the voice had come from. He opened the door to find a nice comfortable looking lounge. The whole band was there but Gackt only recognised Mana and Közi. A guy sitting on an arm chair smiled shyly at Gackt. He had long reddish brown hair. It was the longest hair Gackt had ever seen on a man. Gackt smiled back. He seemed friendly enough. The other man he didn’t recognise looked kind of normal. He had blond hair cut in a normal short style. The man seemed to look surprised. ‘I guess I’m not what he was expecting’ Gackt thought trying to not look at the man’s nose, it was on the larger side of normal.
    “This is Kami” Közi said pointing to the man with long hair. “and Yu~ki” he said pointing to the man with normal hair.

            Yu~ki recovered from his original shock. ‘Another vampire’ he thought surprised ‘I bet they don’t know yet. It’s not like they have my sense of smell. Well I won’t tell them. It’ll be interesting to see how long it takes them to work it out for themselves.’ Yu~ki watched Gackt as he and the other started to make small talk. He liked Gackt but something about his smell was off ‘he’s defiantly vampire. I’m sure of it. Yet he smells different from the others… could he really be? No. What are the chances of that!’

            Gackt smiled at Kami, he really liked the man. He had been so shy and quiet at first but as the day had gone on he had opened up more and more. Kami was the kind of guy who liked to have fun. There was something very childish about him, yet he was also very mature. Kami wasn’t the kind of guy Gackt normally became friends with. Yet Gackt felt a connection with the man. He wanted to protect him. Gackt had never felt this towards a human before.

            Yu~ki seemed pretty friendly too. Though it seemed like he was laughing at some inside joke. As the day progressed Gackt decided that he was going to join Malice Mizer. Mana was weird, he’d just sat there staring at Gackt most of the day. The others were nice and friendly though. ‘I will never fit in here’ Gackt thought ‘I’ll never fit in anywhere. However I think I’ll fit in here better than anywhere else’

            Later that night Gackt decided that he would have to go. He was getting hungry and eating his new band mates would not be the best start. ‘I should have eaten last night’ he scolded himself. Tearing his gaze from Kami’s neck.
     “Look I have to go” Gackt announced.“It’s ok. You can stay here” Közi announced. “You can borrow my stuff”
    “I’d rather have my own” Gackt lied. He needed to get out of here. ‘Stop looking at Kami’s neck’ he scolded himself. ‘This morning you wanted to protect the man, now you want to eat him.’ Blood lust was horrible. All your morals were replaced by a need to eat. Friends started to look like dinner and if you weren’t careful you ended up eating those closest to you. As a child Gackt had ended up killing a few people. He had cried for hours after each one. He wasn’t a killer, not really. It was just the blood lust and the hunger. Gackt had learned it was better to eat a little often than wait to go hungry. A lot of vampires didn’t care but Gackt did. He remembered the time when…… ‘no don’t think of that’ Gackt thought. ‘that was the past. You can’t change the past. Stop thinking about it’
    “Well why don’t you get your stuff and come back then?” Közi offered. ‘huh’ thought Gackt lost in the past. Then he remembered
    “OK. That sounds fine. I may be awhile though, I need to make some phone calls” Gackt replied. He’d feed and get his stuff and everything would be OK.
    “Would you like a lift?” offered Kami. “You look kind of sick”
    “No I’m fine” Gackt replied. He would have loved to have a chance to get to know Kami better but he also didn’t want Kami to find out the truth about him. “I won’t be that long.” Gackt glanced at Kami, he seemed so disappointed. Gackt felt a stab of guilt but knew he was doing the right thing.

   Kami glanced at Gackt. Was Gackt avoiding him? No that can’t be! Gackt had been so friendly all day. Not like Mana. Mana was acting really weird. Kind of like how he acted around Tetsu in the beginning, only so much worse. ‘Maybe he just wants to phone his girlfriend in private’ Kami decided. ‘Well actually the way he’s dressed maybe it’s boyfriend… well then again look how I’m dressed!” Kami thought glancing down at his purple and pink outfit. “No way is a man like him single anyway!”

            Gackt arrived once again at the hotel. He’d decided he’s find his stuff and then food as luck would have it a young woman was alone in the lift with him.
    “Hi” said Gackt politely.
    “Hi” she replied.
    “Here alone?” questioned Gackt. If she was he’d already lucked out and found dinner.
    “Yeah!” replied the woman smiling “My boyfriend isn’t coming until tomorrow. He has this work thing. He's always at work. But he can afford to buy me nice things so i shouldn't complain.” The lift doors opened. “Isn’t this your floor? I saw you press the button.”
    Gackt stared the woman straight in the eyes. “I never pressed that button” he said in a low hypnotic voice. The woman blinked.
    “Yeah that’s right. What am I thinking?” she said laughing.
    “Would you like some company?” Gackt offered. “You know someone to talk to?” Women often got funny ideas about the definition of ‘company’.
    “I was just going to go to bed. I don’t feel well” the woman declined.
    “Let me help you” Gackt said in his hypnotic voice.
    “Sure ok” Replied the woman. “That would be nice.” The lift reached it’s destination and the doors opened. Gackt and the woman stepped out and walked down the hall.

            “My boyfriend is going to be so jealous if he knew I was letting a man like you into my room” laughed the woman unlocking the door.
    “That’s ok, he’ll never find out. You’re not going to remember me tomorrow” Gackt said hypnotically.
    “Yeah I won’t” agreed the woman sleepily. Gackt smiled and shut the door behind him.
    “You’re going to stay still for me and not scream right?” he asked in his extra special voice.
    “Off course.” Agreed the woman. Gackt smiled and walked over. He pushed the woman’s hair away from her neck. He leant forward and licked it.
    “What are you doing?” asked the woman.
    “Well vampire saliva contains a pain killer” explained Gackt. It’s not like the woman would remember anything in the morning. “You’re nice so I don’t want you to feel any pain”.
    “You’re nice too” agreed the woman who was getting more and more under Gackt’s spell.

            “Thank you” replied Gackt biting into the woman’s neck. She didn’t even flinch. Gackt felt her warm blood trickle down the throat. He felt a sense of relief and pleasure. There was nothing like this. For a vampire, feeding was the ultimate pleasure. After awhile he pulled away. If he drank too much the woman would die, but the amount he’d taken would just leave her feeling faint. “Why don’t you go to bed” suggested Gackt. The wounds on the woman’s neck had already healed up. The other power of vampire saliva was it’s healing properties.
    “Yeah” said the woman putting herself into bed fully dressed. Gackt left her room and went to pack up his things. ‘Why does the media always show us as cold blooded killers?’ Gackt wondered…..
